Jump Start Kindergarten Festival

Calling all Robinhood Pediatric Rising Kindergarteners and their families (ages 4-8) Come celebrate Back-to-School! There will be fun and festivities for everyone.

When: Aug 11th, 2016 5-7pm
Where: Robinhood Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine

Rain plan: reschedule for August 18th

Events for the festival include: Informational sessions on packing healthy lunches and helping your child succeed in school, face painting, fun/educational games and prizes, school bus safety, and many more fun-filled activities!

We will be hosting a food drive from August 8th until August 12th for Second Harvest Food Bank to help fight against childhood hunger!

Most of us can remember learning to swim.  Maybe it was lessons at the local “Y”, where the chlorine smell nearly knocked you over; maybe it was the slightly dangerous, muddy lake water of a camp; or, perhaps your parents just threw you in the deep end, old-school style.  Whatever your experience, you learned a key Life Skill: how to swim.

Car seat safety

Select a car seat based on your child’s age and size, and choose a seat that fits in your vehicle and use it every time. Always refer to your specific car seat manufacturer's instructions; read the vehicle owner's manual on how to install the car seat using the seat belt or LATCH system; and check height and weight limits. To maximize safety, keep your child in the car seat for as long as possible, as long as the child fits within the manufacturer's height and weight requirements. Keep your child in the back seat at least through age 12.
